Php version 4.4.0 ?

Any reason why I shouldn't upgrade my PHP to V 4.4.0 ?

I need to recompile Apache and see that the following are checked:

Php Module (Version 4.3.3)
Version 4.3.11

but
Version 4.4.0
is unchecked

And don't forget check GD ! Because manytimes whm not add this module..

Funny you mentioned that --

I *know* I already have GD installed, but on the screen where you can check things to recompile Apache with, GD is *not* checked

Wouldn't it automatically check the modules I have previously compiled with?

I don't like 4.4.0 yet as it brings me problem cuz other sites (using OTHER forum software would stop working 500 internal server error...) I didn't look at the cause though.

I have been using 4.3.11 cgi mode (checked phpsuexec), and I want to use "module" because of archive feature... Is "module mode" always run php scripts as "nobody"? or is there something I should check or uncheck to get that working?

If you want php running as an apache module you can't use phpsuexe support.

I tested apache 2.0.54, mysql 4.1.13, php 4.4.0, phpmyadmin on xp pro/windows 2003 64bit with vbulletin 3.0.8 so far and they work wonderfuly together. Thanks for all the hard work ya guys put into vbulletin
