    I'm trying to figure out how to post a movie (WMV) that is on the internet onto a web page using html. The only thing that I found on the internet was a code to post a link to the movie but I actually want the movie itself to play when the page is loaded and not have to click on a link to get there. Is there such a code?? Thanks much ~ Mary

    Code:
    <EMBED type='application/x-mplayer2'
            pluginspage='http://microsoft.com/windows/mediaplayer/en/download/'
            id='mediaPlayer' name='mediaPlayer' displaysize='4' autosize='-1'
            bgcolor='darkblue' showcontrols="true" showtracker='-1'
            showdisplay='0' showstatusbar='-1' videoborder3d='-1' width="320" height="285"
            src="http://servername/path/to/media.file" autostart="true" designtimesp='5311' loop="true">
          </EMBED>
    I think that will work. Go here if it doesn't:

      Not working

      I tried that code and went to the site to use the generator but neither worked.... the generator gave me a hyperklink to play it as an external but what i want is for this movie.. http://lionsgate.arcostream.net/lion...cts/16_300.wmv

      ... to play on a myspace page when submitted as a comment and i'm starting to think it's imposible!

        My bet is that myspace stripped the tags so you can't post it as a comment.

          I don't think thats the problem because you can post pics and sounds with html and also there's a ton of pages that give codes to post music videos and they all work perfectly... I just think I'm having problems finding the right code.

            Yeah but you sumbitted as a comment. I'm saying that myspace allows you put the wmv somewhere else, say like the about me section, but they restrict it in the comments section.

              That's not true because I've posted video's in other peoples comments and had them posted in mine but I tried inserting the clip into the video html but it didn't work unfortunatley. I know there's a code out there I just have to find it!!
