    I recently set my computer up as a webserver.

    It's running Windows 2000 Advanced Server. It has Perl, PHP, Python, and MySQL installed. My old host's server is a Linux Box running Debian Linux and Apache Server.

    Anyways I don't know very much about PHP. I plan to move my vBulletin from F2S to my server, and I would like to modify the script on my old host to redirect to the address in the new host.

    How would I make it so it would go about doing this?

    For example if someone went to http://www.catclub.f2s.com/Vbulletin...?threadid=2929 or something like that it would redirect to http://catclub.2y.net/Vbulletin/show...?threadid=2929

    Is it possible to do that so it goes to the new address, because that way if you goto a thread on the oldhost it goes to the same thread on the new host.

    I would like to rig it so it copies the part after the ? too.

    Thanks in advance

      PHP Code:
      <?php

      header
      ("Location: http://newdomain/board/index.php");
      exit();
      ?>
      replace your old index.php with that and it will forward to the new domain.

        PHP Code:
        <?php

        header
        ("Location: http://newdomain/board/index.php");
        exit;
        ?>
        Would this be better in to place in Global.php ?

          Iif you do this with PHP, you will want to move the querystring over as well.
