  • Two quick questions.

    How would I go about selecting which style a member is using(in a php file)?

    and what would I include in a php file to be able to use the $vboptions variable?

    thanks.

      Not ignoring you, I just don't know how to do this or even if it's possible .

        These two questions really go together. You need global.php for this.

        PHP Code:
        <?php

        // gain access to all vB variables: $vboptions, $bbuserinfo, etc.
        require_once('/path/to/vb/global.php');

        // to get the styleid use:
        $styleid constant('STYLEID');

        ?>

          I dind't think anyone was ignoring me.

          I just thought the same thing though, I know $vboptions is a template variable you can use in templates. So it really wouldn't do any good in a php file, but the style question looks to be answered.

          sorry for the question.
          this would query the users' style and show the colors of that style? or do i have to replace 'STYLEID' Whith the Styleid's #?

          thanks.

            No, that would give you the styleid of the current user.
