  • shell_exec problem

    Hi ,

    I've got this script here that allows a person to download all of the chapters in a fan fiction page. Because the text is in the database, it makes files for each chapter and puts it in a temp directory, where I have a shell_exec script that SHOULD make them all into a zip then delete them, leaving only the zip. It's not, though.

    Here's what I've got so far:
    PHP Code:
    shell_exec("zip -rmT fanfic fanfic_tmp -x \*.php");
    So, long story short, it makes all of the files then just stops at this part. I've absolutely no idea what's wrong with it (mainly because it works just fine in the shell itself), so any ideas?

    Thanks!
    - Silver

    Maybe the script needs more memory than PHP is allowed to use? Try increasing the memory_limit directive in php.ini if you have access to it.
