  • (css) question...

    i'm using background images with gradients and i'm having a few issues with the font looking right near the bottom of the fade.

    i've been tpying with different things to try and make it look better, and my question is if it's possible to not make a (seperate) gradient for behind the text, but to actually make the text itself use the image... so it would actually be fading continuously to a new color and would show up better on top of the other gradient i'm using...

    does that make sense?

    so basically i'm just wondering if theres another call instead of 'background-image that would fade the actual TEXT.....

    heres my code

    .portal_font_test { font-size: 11px; font-family: veranda; background-image: url('images/styles/default/stats/font.jpg') }
