I know vB Lite was stoped like a year or two ago. I saw a few site running vb Lite. I thought you could only use it so long (could be wrong).

No, they can still use it. We just don't make it available. Plus it would be illegal for anyone else to get a copy of it. Frankly if you're looking for something free there are much better choices available.
