I'm looking for something to analyze web logs that I download to my computer. Which ones are good? I just want to see where my bandwidth is going, make sure nobody is stealing it, etc.

What web log analysis tool do you use?

Hi there,
OMG: Your avatar is scary - yet so cool
Having said that, I use UltraEdit 10 because it loads the big GB big log files perfectly and just stripping the data using a macro or finding specific links works great.
UltraEdit is a notepad replacement 'text editor' - I use that to open almost any file on my system that isn't an image.
Anyway, maybe there are some windows tools to check these logs, but I have never used those. I tried a few, way back; but those were kind of crappy. I found them using google.com
Good luck! And if you find something useful, let us know

Analysis software that can break stuff down into graphs and the like are good for checking that sort of stuff.
AWstats is a good one, though im not sure if it has reports to tell you if theres much off-site linking.
Be careful with off-site linking protection though, not all browsers send HTTP_REFERRER headers.
