    The virus is also being posted to newsgroups with the title.
    "Company or Corporation(s)" site was hacked today

    eg: PayPal's site was hacked today

    Nortons new virus dats (released late night at 9:30pm-EST) now scan the compressed files and deletes the virus..

    I received about 25 more this morning, all automatically deleted..

    I just got 51 bounced messages today and loads of them said I've been sending out viruses. Anyone else get this? :\

    For the most part, yes. There was a problem with active scripting a while ago which ran a virus as soon as you opened the email. I got hit with that myself once and it deleted my entire inbox

    If you've downloaded updates it should be ok now.

    I've receieved two emails in the last day and a half with a .zip file attached. Question - If I open the email, but dont download the .zip file, I'm still okay, correct?

    Just want to make sure.
