on the news last night, it said that most CD's now were supposed to be under a tenner so more people buy them.

and they wonder why more and more people are downloading online.

and what does this say to you: more people are downloading online, however CD sales have almost tripled since 2000.

If the music wasn't so grossly overpriced then I think most people would take the legal option. I do however see this case as a bad thing for the music industry. I'm certainly not going to go out there and buy a CD for £13.99. I did regularly buy from cdwow but i won't anymore. I'm sad to see this happen...
