Create a thread asking how to promote it

Apart from that, you might want to submit it to Dmoz and Yahoo
    Raz - KMC Forums

...and www.boardreader.com - I love that site, especially now that Google has been flooded with so much irrelevant rubbish.

          Hello Fast Eddie,

I suggest you register your site with search engines, like yahoo, google (I know), and others. Beware of those wanting to SELL you access to search engine lists.

Do some searchwork on dog associations. I am a lifetime GSD person, so I have a lot of links about GSD's, rescue organizations, dog talk, etc. Go join their forums, and make some friends. Perhaps they are looking for affiliates, and will link your site, if you link theirs and vice versa.

And finally, get writing, or get content that you can legally post w/o fear of copyright infringement on your breed of dog. Articles that you can then send out to your "friends"/affiliates, and they may link your stories on their sites. It took me almost two years to build my mailing list for PC Hardware/Software articles that the writers at my forums produce. Also, you will need to keep track of these contacts, and make sure you have new sites and lists as they come online. It's a constant job to keep these sources fresh, but they yield tons of traffic, and will help you get established.

I love yorkies too, just about any dog, actually, my last small one was a Westie. Tought little guys. Enjoy!

          Regards,
          Bitbender - BBF
