    There must be something wrong with the code...that's why I posted. The code disappeared on ALL pages of the website.

    Not just the ones in the conditionals, but all of them. The google ads didn't appear at all...on any pages when I used these conditionals with my google ads in the footer.

      You may want to remove the CTR number though Joe. According to Google it is one of the things that are covered by their confidentiality clause.
      Would it be possible for you to specify the exact location of where you posted the adsense code? I messed up m templates twice now and can't find the right spot. Thanks.

        Never mind. I finally got it to work.

        I had to place it right underneath

        "<!-- / controls above postbits -->"

          can i block adsense from a partiucular forum (a hidden one that google won't be able to spider anyhow). The the page being loaded in vb3 know what forum you are looking at , or is it only concerned with the post.

          cheers,

            Yeah, you can add a conditional

            <if condition="$forumid != 1">adsense</if>

            I hope that works.

                  I put Floris' code into my footer for my template but the ads do not appear, even on the pages they are supposed to appear on. This is the code I'm using:

                  HTML Code:
                  <if condition="THIS_PAGE == 'showthread' or THIS_PAGE == 'index' or THIS_PAGE == 'forumdisplay'"><br />
                  <div align="center"><script type="text/javascript"><!--
                  google_ad_client = "pub-3814940959594591";
                  google_alternate_ad_url = "[url="http://www.olate.com/images/scripts/olatedownload_noclick.gif"]http://www.olate.com/images/scripts/olatedownload_noclick.gif[/url]";
                  google_ad_width = 468;
                  google_ad_height = 60;
                  google_ad_format = "468x60_as";
                  google_color_border = "738AB8";
                  google_color_bg = "FFFFFF";
                  google_color_link = "000000";
                  google_color_url = "35466A";
                  google_color_text = "000000";
                  //--></script>
                  <script type="text/javascript"
                    src="[url="http://pagead2.googlesyndication.com/pagead/show_ads.js"]http://pagead2.googlesyndication.com/pagead/show_ads.js[/url]">
                  </script>
                  </div>
                  <br />
                  </if>
                  Any suggestions?

                    works here, but try

                    <if condition="(THIS_PAGE == 'showthread') OR (THIS_PAGE == 'index') OR (THIS_PAGE == 'forumdisplay')">

                            Does anyone have the code that puts Google Ads on the legal pages that will work in vB 2.2.9? I've got them appearing where I want them on my plain html site (non-vBulletin).

                            Thanks.
