  • This is driving me nuts!

    It drives me nuts how often I see these words used incorrectly.
    So a quick lesson...

    There: As in... My house is over there. Indicates a location or being in the moment. As in... There will be no horse play!
    Their: As in.. That is their house. Shows possession.
    They're: As in... They're going to my house. Contraction meaning "they are".

    Please adjust accordingly.

      I feel your pain! It drives me crazy. How about:

      your - Is that your car?
      you're - You're (you are ) very tall.

      I cringe whenever I see them used wrong.

          Ridiculous, not rediculous. I don't know why people always type it that way. It's not RED-ick-you-liss, it's RID-ick-you-liss.

                          People need to learn not to leave letters out of words as well. As in 'u', 'r', 'n e 1' and others. You all know who you are. How many miliseconds does leaving letters out actually save you?

                            A few more:

                            Here = location
                            I'm over here!
                            hear = hearing
                            I hear you.(this one's easy... it's hear, come on people, I learned this in 1st grade!)

                            You can even master a few other things with here...

                            Where
                            There
                            TheologyWeb. We debate theology. srsly.

                              I decided a few months ago that grammar was so 20th century and figured it didn't matter anymore.
