  • Track down spammer?

What are some of the ways to track down a spammer on a server (with many others hosted on it using a php script to send out junkmail? I'm getting some bounced mails but the only thing it's telling me is that the spammer is using:

    X-Mailer: PHPBulkEmailer 1.1 http://www.nukedweb.com/

I'm running cpanel so there's no central web server log for me to peruse through. Help!

    Well, there it is.

Find the name of the program that's being used (such as XXXX.php) and do a whereis for it.

      whereis XXXXX.php

Not sure if that's what you're looking for, but give it a shot?

why not go that website, download the application and see how it installs. Then do a search on your server for variations of the filename.

Is this your server, or someone else's/companies server?

Complain to that isp if its not yours.
