Ya and also one other thing that i have a question about. What made the company decide that the v is lowercase?

        vB?

The 'v' is in lowercase becuase it stands for nothing, just like the 'n' in my site name (VGGMn)

i think its there to make it stand out from the crowd and give it an identity, sort of like a logo you say vbulletin (if your interested in message boards) they know which one your on about.

it doesnt necessarily have to mean anything, but you have to admit it does make it stand out quite well....

I'm sure the 'v' stands for visual because John and James used to run a site about visual basic and I'm sure I remember John or someone posting that. I used to browse this site alot before I bought my leased license and I know that's what it used to stand for at least.

EDIT: Well that's what it used to stand for I'm sure, but now it doesn't mean anything.

It has never stood for anything. Never, ever...posts from Kier and other vBulletin developers have said time and time again it stood for NOTHING. Just because it came from a Visual Basic site does not mean it stands for visual...geez...its not hard to comprehend people lol

Technically, I could say it literally means "nothing". But it is really just... there.
