300 dpi?

    Yeah, in photoshop just click new, and change it from 72 to 300 from there.

    If you're already made the image, I'm afraid you are out of luck You can't increase the DPI and retain both image size and quailty (unless it's vector based, which I'm presuming it's not).

    You can't change it after the PSD has already been made. (well you can but unless the PSD is huge, increasing the DPI will result in bad things happening...)

    Anyway you should start with a high DPI image (300) and then bring your artwork into it. If you don't have a 300 DPI copy of your logo or other artwork that you need you'll have to ask whoever did the graphics for you if they have them.

    when you make a new file theres a resolution settin

    its defaulted to 72

    Ok, I am making t-shirts for my site and the guy making them told me to put it in psd format with 300 dpi quality. How do I tell? And how do I make it 300 dpi in PS? Thanks.
