  • I can never find a good XML site

I've been googling heavily for three days now and I can hardly find good sites on the slightly more "behind the scenes" info on XML. All these sites that I run into simply show me a demo xml file content, and it's output. I would love to scream "THIS TELLS ME NOTHING!" to them, but they all seem to share the same problem. Everyone's been talking about it lately, especially with XSL. But I want to first know how it works. The w3 site seems more like a tutorial than anything.

My main concern is server-side, and how a simple text file be considered secure for business applications. Is there a site that can show me what goes on behind the scenes?

I shared the same problems with you when i wanted to know more about it.

I really only started to understand after reading a XSL WROX book and a PHP4 XML functions book before starting to grip what it was and what it was used for.

And having an uncle that almost speaks in SGML helped too

Its worth spending a few bucks and getting a book if you can
