Right now, a lot more than usual, cos my parents are on holiday and I still haven't found a place to live on my own.

When the parents are around, I cook every so often...

Last night I made a salmon, maranaded in a lemmon pepper sauce, and smoked it with hickory and pecan woods. All with a side of roased asparagus!

      Yum!

Ya. I love to cook. For me it is an art, and art is meant to be shared by others.

My forum is on cooking. I am actually surprised that I have not run into others that have a vBulletin cooking forum.

Here are the instructions for making the roasted asparagus.

Right now, the only things I know how to make are Ramen noodles and other pre-packaged foods.

I also know how to make this chinese-styled soup. That's about it.

              I r t3h n00b c00k.

That's all you need to know, anyway

Ah, ramen...Oriental flavor is the best. I like to overcook it, drain most of the liquid, and then put in the "flavoring" ("flavouring"). It makes it nice and concentrated. Even for those concentrated Cambell's soups, I only add about 1/4 can of water

My wife is giving me a cooking class once a month at a very prominate restaurant here in Houston in support of my new forum. Not to mention the fact that she just wants me to be a better cook.

My wife is a resturant manager, so the last thing she wants to do when she comes home is cook.

Here is a photo of her on another one of my forums.

At any rate. I am finding that I am cooking more and more now just to try and fill up my forum. But, keep in mind that it has only been up and running now for just under 2 weeks.

You have a perfect target audience: Geeks and Programmers that don't get out of their chairs much, and demand to eat something more satisfying.
                        :)

Speaking of audiance, I have been trying to find a good place to advertise with a banner add for my cooking forum. When I first started doing research, i saw a forum that had a bunch of women talking about scrap books, or something along those lines. it seems to me that I found the link through a post that said something about "post the site with the most thread or members" or something like that.

My first thought when I saw the site was that this must be a large group of house wives, and my guess is that they all cook.

I have searched here on the sticky above, and I did not find the site. Does any one have any idea what I am talking about? Does any one have a good idea where I can put a banner add?

                          Thanks

I can't cook but I know how to work the microwave! Does that count for anything?
