Why so many google bots?

Sheesh! I hear all this talk about bots lately and I wish they would come my way.

LOL mine happened to arrive on the first day I got my board going with only three posts......as I said they stayed 2 hours on a board with 3 posts! Must have liked those posts!

heh yesterday I had, like, 30 bots on at one time... mostly from inktomi and google. I don't mind, except I wish they wouldn't show up as guests... they mess with my most online stats. hrmpf. I tried shutting it off in the admin cp but that only took their names away, didn't stop them from showing up as guests. Ah well. Makes my stats look impresslive. LOL

I had 8 google bots all on my forum yesterday and they stayed for about 2 hours. Does anyone know why they stay so long and why do they come around so often? They were just here the night before then they came back in the morning. Why so many at once also?
