CPanel Backup Question

Hi all

I have accidentally deleted my forum database. It's not as bad as it seems, the forum is pretty new and had maybe 20 posts on it so far. I had made several complete HOME backups through Cpanel yet when I restore them, I don't get the posts back, just the forums. I thought that the complete home backup backedup everything including databases. Am I doing something wrong here?

By "just the forums," do you mean just the forum files, or just the empty forum categories?

There are two Cpanel backup options. One backs up the files on the server. The other backs up the databases. It sounds like you did not backup the vB database.

use ssh to do complete database backups
