You have multiple categories in a forum.

Look, even vBulletin.com is "vBulletin Community Forum"
"63,000 bugs in the code, 63,000 bugs, you get 1 whacked with a service pack, now there's 63,005 bugs in the code."
"Before you critisize someone, walk a mile in their shoes. That way, when you critisize them, you're a mile away and you have their shoes."

                and forums.mysite.com or forum.mysite.com
A forum contains threads and other forums. Unless you have one forum at your site (for example, a single container for threads), you have forums or "fora", which sounds stupid

I say forum too because I've always had mine like that and I'd have to admit I was wrong if I say forums sounds better, and I'm never wrong.

                          I've always used forums

Although I might switch my url to board instead because it makes more sense

Forums They both work to me, but I look at each different "category" as a different forum within a "board", so it's plural in my eyes. (Fora just sounds like some sort of sea creature )
