There have been a crapload of Inktomi spiders on my site lately

So much that it bumped up my total user record from 43 on 1/03/03 to 51 today. Did someone give the Inktomi Spider some Jolt Cola or something?

I too noticed this on my forums. At one stage I had 54 guests both from the inktomi & goolebot spiders. They were there for ages too. At least two hours later I still had the spiders on my site, but they were down to about 35 or so. Mental, but good

Seems like alot of boards are getting hit by Inktomi spiders, there have been some threads at vB.org about this as well.
