All I have to say is that it was a very good book. So much occurs and so many answers are given, it leaves you wondering what will happen in the next two books.

You'll be wondering for like 3-4 years because that's how long it takes her now because of those stupid movies.

Maybe.. I happen to enjoy the movies and will watch them as well. Different mediums and different forms of entertainment.

I figure that I have 40-50 years left in this life... What is the hurry?

I don't like the movies... and by the time they get to The Goblet of Fire, the movies will be so horrible I'll be forced to gouge my eyes out with a spoon. I love the books, she was putting out a book a year until she decided to make the movies.

By the way, months before The Goblet of Fire was released, it was really called "Harry Potter and the Tri-wizard Tournament"

You could read something else in the meanwhile. While Harry Potter is entertaining, Piers Anthony does write better fantasy novels. You could start with the light (ala Harry Potter) Xanth series or take something with more depth such as the Space Tyrant series.

Heh, I'm readin it nice and slow. I'm at page 354 now. Got it saturday.

I really like how things get called back from previous books . And I'm wondering who died /me reads.

BTW, there is this stupid freaky girl that read the entire book WITHIN 2 HOURS!? About 6 sec per page :s

Piers Anthony is great. I have read and own most of his stuff. Got bored with Xanth in about book 27 though. Looking for the new Dark-Elf book in R.A. Salvatore's Dark Elf Saga... No one local has it right now though. Only buy from Amazon if I can qualify for free shipping. Too expensive otherwise.

We usually buy over a hundred books a year in the family and borrow books from my parents as well. The wait won't be too untolerable.

I don't really care for the books or the movies. I don't have a life off the internet now that I think about that.

I haven't seen or read any Harry Potter. I also haven't seen any of the Lords of the Rings movies either. Not really interested to be honest.

Anyway, here in Ireland a store in the middle of the country put the books on sale before they were supposed to, so some people got to buy the book early
