I saw this in the footer of a vb forum: "Powered by: vBulletin 2.3.0 Premium"

Did someone just mess with the footer (against the license, BTW), or what is this?

I figured, I guess I should report it for being against the license.

I don't plan on it though.

I believe it has to be clear that vBulletin is powering your forums and is Copyright Jelsoft.

For instance, "Powered by: vBulletin, Copyright Jelsoft and mysite.com" would probably not be allowed.

          My site?

And no, that's not against the license.

I don't think you're allowed to imply that vBulletin is in anyway copyright by you, so you couldn't "mix" the two copyrights like that.

Adding "Premium" does not imply that vBulletin is copyright to me in any way.

And why is this a big deal?

                Report it.
