I need my vbulletin.org fix *twitches a bit*

It was working fine for a bit last night, then it gave me a windows search engine box saying the domain was gone. Now it just doesn't load, says site can't be found. I thought it might be a DNS issue with the domain. Or maybe it had exspired or something to that nature.

It seems to still be down today. I did a ping and tracet and both died or resquest timed out.

Shouldn't there be an offical announcement at vB.org and vBT routing problems? I mean they are considered official Jelsoft sites...

You're saying people can actually get to it?
I've tried with 30+ proxies now in various locations... no go

Since it is unaccessible to people via Domain or IP, ping doesn't go through and others (including myself) can access it just fine without any kind of problems, the problem appears to be with routing.

One partial reason for this could be Telstra's cable problems off the coast of China:

Where is the server located? Possibly the storms in the west caused problems...

That wouldn't make any sense. To my knowledge vB.com, vB.org, and vBT are all on the same server.

The server is actually in Colorado as far as my memory tells me. To be precise:

                            5970 S Greenwood Plaza Blvd.
                            Suite 156
                            Greenwood Village, CO 80111

EDIT: a trace route from my home (attached). Here's a traceroute from a different server in the same datacenter (address above) tracing vbulletin.org:

No go. It's just crappy routing in general...need to access it from a completely different network (although my school's wireless was crapped up too).
