The first site I made isn't online, but the one where I actually bought a domain and built a site for (maybe 4-5 years back) was Fusion-Central (http://www.fusion-central.net). About 5 months ago two former members of Fusion Central started Central Fusion and then invited me to join. I got it setup on a vB and transformed it back to Fusion Central (http://fusion-central.net). It is a general discussion board and it is doing pretty good

It's still up, but I forgot my password, so I can't log in to it to update it, which I'd like to do.

I purchased my first computer in 1988 for about $600.00. It was an old 8088 XT with a 20MB harddrive. By 1992, I was on my 3rd computer which was a 386DX running at 33Mhz. I also had a Macintosh SE at that time that was given to me by a friend. In 1994-1995, I purchased a Pentium 90 computer for about $1000 bucks new.

That computer actually lasted a long time and was upgraded in 2001. Since then, I have been lucky enough to upgrade my PC every year.

Currently, I am using a Athlon 1700XP+ with 512 MB DDR 333 Mhz RAM, a 30 Gigabyte HD and all the fun bells and whistles. It cost me about $485.00 brand new ten days ago.

I have been using Computers since 1983.

However, to answer your question: I didn't own the computer that I created my first webpage on. It was at school. It was one a Unix cluster and HTML was something new that was just infiltrating school. So instead of writing our assignments in COBOL, we were writing basic webpages.

Hmmm the first site I ever made was in 1993. It was up until late last year when the ISP went bankrupt and was partially bought out by Earthlink.
