• Is being a VBulletin team member a full time job?

    Just wondering

Do you guys work 40 hours a week or it is just a free time type thing? Also how is the pay (if you can say )

This has been asked before. Most of the vB Team members have other jobs, and do "this" from home.

Asking the pay is not really appropriate IMO

There must be a couple guys that do this full time...

I do not need exactly what they make, just give me a range. Basically asking if the job is full time, 40 a week, will answer my question

If I remember correctly, all vBulletin Team members are required to sign a Non-Disclosure Agreement (NDA). They are not allowed to answer the question of how much they make.

I'd imagine the developers do more work on vB than most others, especially at a time like this (regarding vB 3 release)

OK lets skip that question then folks

How about we add this one.

How many are on the team, and how many of them are full time workers?

            Thanks

Depends how much time you can or want to put into this, but you should be able to make a living out of this.

Either way it's probably an hourly pay instead of annual.

I'm currently working 35-40 hours a week on vB support. I'm also working 7 days a week (I haven't taken a full day off since Sept 13, 2002.)

The commute is great. Just 50 ft. downstairs to my office.
