What company (include URL, please) do you guys recommend that offers a full rating package, where users can upload their own images and have people rate them from 1-10? Also, if you can, please tell me why you recommend the company compared to others.

They offer vBulletin integration and picture rating.

How do I check for GD support?

Upload a phpinfo file and see if it lists the GD library.

Hmm, if you are on a CPanel server you should have GD support, I think. Else you could also use ImageMagick with Photopost.

I tried http://www.4homepages.de/ and all i did there was upload netPBM binaries into a directory and all worked well.

I think it is possable. it does intergrate into vbulletin with a fresh install of 4images (seperate download instructions). you can create user groups, and you can set permissions for different catergories.

so i guess in theory if you created a catergory (members gallery) and a user group called "members" and then assigned members to the group i guess that should work. it just might take some thinking about, thats all.

it's worth a look since it's free it will only cost you a little bit of time.
