  • Anyone using Censura?

    http://www.incursio.com/products/censura/

I'm getting ready to build a new site where I'd like to have a professional looking review system for products. This was the only "nice" looking one I found and the price is a bit steep for me so I wanted to see if anyone here had any feedback from their experience?

Well I am not using it yet myself, but I would like to get it, though the one draw back is if your host does not have Zend Opitmizer installed, which according to them is not the same as Zend engine.

I had been looking and found only one other review system, if you have some other ones besides. http://www.reviewpost.com/indexpro.html I would like to know about them.

Make sure that if you are gonna use censura, the domain name you're gonna use it on is THE domain name you really want, since there is no way to transfer the license over to another site/domain name without paying for it again...

I tried using censura on my site ... it was a pain in the ass to customize and doesn't work as well with vBulletin as Reviewpost does ... I tried to transfer the license to another site of mine coz I paid good money for it and I didn't want to waste it, but they said I would have to buy it again

So I now have a censura license wasting away in a corner...

Well the reason I am looking into censura is because the people I have that will be placing the reviews are draw to it.

Though looks like we may have to try reviewpost or some other review program.

I decided against it the more I looked at it. I wrote my own that is not spectacular but works well for us:

I'm trying to lauch an online store using osCommerce and it already comes with a built-in review system. I've been reviewing http://www.incursio.com and http://www.reviewpost.com and I think that they've got a better review system than osc. However, wouldn't it be conflicting to install ANOTHER review system if I already have osc (or is their a way to work around this)???

I know that's a real old thread but censura is still on market, any news about your experience with this review script? Thanks.
