            No i will not buy you ram. Get some at new egg for $84 for 512MB DDR2100. I paid $103 each and bought 4 of them, so be happy..

            Yes i am building two computers, basicly same specs. And as far as money i have a sponsor that paid for both of them.

                People sponsor you to build computers for yourself? Sounds like the way to go.

                      Neat, but yes - secure it, you don't want people driving by and picking up your signal


                      My laptop does have a wireless nic, but i don't do wireless at home, only good old UTP

                          I bought one of those myself on Sunday!

                          I can get my laptop to talk to the router and my desktop to talk to the router, but can't get them to talk to each other

                            i'm gonna need a wireless router soon, too much haste to cable my house with the new computers in and the 8 port switch is almost full, might as well get a wireless one and have two switches oOOOooh

                            I wonder how long the backup UPS will last now
