    license question

wat will Vbulletin do if they found a non-license VBB?
will they just ask them to pay for it? or they have to pay the fine (I mean extra fee)?
then how about If they still use the VBB and without paying?

if they find an illegal vbulletin the will send a email asking them to take it down or purchese a licence failure to do that will result in legal action

      We take action.

I don't know the details. It wouldn't be appropriate for me to tell you anyways.

I remember this thread in the Pre-Sales....Occured a few days ago

Today i got an email about my forum from some copyrighting guys, this is how it went and i wanted to know if they email is real, since we have had a few enemies in the past and it could all be a big hoax for all i know, so is this a real email and would i be safe giving them my licence number if it's requested and such

I'm guessing you won't share your site's URL, then, huh?

That's what I was guessing.... I was wondering why he was asking these questions.

Of course I could've just totally gotten the wrong impression.

I thought it was against vBulletin's privacy policy to reveal that kind of information.
