    Fastest server switch ever!

I thiink ya'll did a remarkable job from speed of DNS propagation to getting everything up and running...in record time.

This server you are sitting on is sooooo fast.

I think I want to put one on my christmas wish list

Thanks for making sure our support forums stay up and running...and accessible.

Congrats to the entire vbulletin team!

I just checked, and vbulletin.com is using the DNS "ns1.dn.net" which belongs to Verio. I thought they switched to VO?

Thanks Kathy! Yes this server is very quick, I really like it And I think the planning we did and experience at moving servers certainly helped everything go smoothly. Although I'm still happy it went so well without any major glitches

This new server is with VenturesOnline, and Verio was our old host. However, you may see us using the dn.net name servers for a little while longer until everything is fully switched over and changes have made their way across the net.

Sure thing... It's a dual 1.4GHz P-III Tullian (5600 bogomips) 512 full L2 cache, with 3GB of RAM and RAID-5 3x36GB Seagate SCSI drives... also includes off-server tape backup as well.

chris has skills, but i don't think he can make name server changes propogate any faster.
