  • Other vBulletin Programs =)

I was wondering if we could all compile a list of known programs that integrate directly into vBulletin. I personally only know of two, which are vBPortal and PhotoPost. If anyone happens to know of others, please include a link. This would be a good thread to sticky, but there are like 10 already stuck in this forum.

        Excellent thread.

Censura is an excellent product review system. It's in late beta development at the moment. It's the only other commercial script that I've got on my site. Integrates into vBulletin (and other communities).

I've been looking for a links manager script that will integrate, but can only find Gossamer Links SQL. There are hacks for IndexU and In-Links at vBulletin.org but I'm not sure how well they work. The one for IndexU forces vBulletin to use a different user database, and I think the one for In-Links requires you to be running vbportal.

        Darren.

I've seen this hack at vbulletin.org but from reading the thread there it doesn't seem to be for the latest version of In-Link. Have any users of the latest version of In-Link successfully integrated with vbulletin 2.2.6?

I run it with In-Link 2.2.9 and vBulletin 2.2.5 and it works without any problem.

So wajones' hack over at vbulletin.org works? You said that you were having a few problems finding a file to modify.
I have some troubles with the new version of In-Link, 2.2.3. Mainly with the changes to in-links admin/config.php. This file doesn't exist anymore and I can't find code in any other file which I think it should go. Could give me a hand here?
Did you get around this? If so, I'll probably be buying In-Link soon. It seems to be the best links manager available.

                Darren.

Well, that was an old "version" of In-Link and the hack. Mainly I tried to add the changes for In-Link 2.2.2 to 2.2.3. However, they changed quite a bit of the code so it didn't fit the instructions anymore. The actual version of both work.

Dunno which one that is, but the original review script I was looking at last year is found at http://www.randommouse.com, it looks good.

They might appear as if they are vB programs, but they are not officially from Jelsoft, nor supported by them.

I'm making a links script atm and have had some suggestions to merge the script to use vBulletin users table, like these other links script, but im not sure it would need it.
Im not trying to spam, so if you want the demo url, look at my sig.
