    I did a search but didn't come up with much.

    Is there a thread on the history of VB somewhere?

    just curious when it all started.

      I'll let John tell you the full story, but basically it was made for vb-world.com's forums about 2 years ago as a replacement to UBB. Other people wanted it so John decided to sell it - and then it's moved forward to where it is today.
