New to VBulletin - what do I need to know to set up forum?

Hi guys, I'm considering VBulletin for my new forum I want to build - first I need some advice before I purchase. I know basic HTML/CSS coding, but haven't used PHP before. Does VBulletin require extensive coding experience (if so I can learn)? Does anyone know of any guides or tutorials for people who have never used VBulletin before? Any help would be much appreciated.

    Thanks,

    biz
