    ok guys I just backed up all of my site as they are moving our server to a new datacentre ton8 and the sql backup of the forums was 185 mb

    whats your highest backup? someone must of hit over 1000 mb?

    My database is at around 96.4 MB's (I'm definitely not going to try and back that up over my 56k modem... ).

        my vB forums database sql is 720MB

        site files backed up are around 950MB

        and have gigs of past sql backups i keep just in case

          I think I take the cake on this one

          VB DB = 850 MB
          Site (not DB) = 660 MB
          Other files = 4.5 GB

              mysql dump 1.8 megs LOL

              For some reason, when i backed up my site though, and re added the database through phpMyAdmin, it timed out when i selected the .sql file

                the two sites on my server (VO) just got to about 700MB after gzipping them. No idea what they would have been before that.

                      Is it just me, or did a ton of forum sites switch servers today(saturday). I think my host must have a lot of vbulletin clients.
