Provocating people for reactions, usually for your own enjoyment.

Examples can range from challenging the merit of an argument to demeaning remark about op's sexual orientation or ancestors (in which case it borders flaming, and op usually bites the bait and starts entertaining the audience with emotionally-driven responses as soon as he has been invited to act like a fool).

People who deliberately post off topic just to frustrate everyone else.

    - members who changed to a competitor but still visit this place regularly and complain about everything in every thread and advertise the competitor.
And if you ask them why they don't just move away they reply: I don't use the product but I still own a license so it is my right to express my mind, blah blah.
ROFL I hit the floor (well nearly...) and rep'd on that one!

Somebody that goes after somebody else is also considered trolling. Anything that is off the topic you are asking anyone out there in cyberspace is considered trolling.

Apparently when you do not agree with someone you are trolling.

    [Sarcasm]
You are not entitled in your own opinion on the internet.

A troll gets other people emotionally involved in the thread against their will.

Without naming any members or using any past examples from here...

How do you clearly define what is trolling?

I suspect we have A LOT of members who disagree on this and I would like to see their points of views. But I'll add a small twist into this... Can you define trolling without any double standards?
You cannot clearly define trolling, trolling can take an infinite number of forms.

What would be more interesting to know is, what made you ask the question?
