I am very knew at this..actually this if the first post I've had but I agree! Maybe it's just because I like everything spelled correctly but most other forums have it and also most other forums don't have the typing coming from the right side of the page, it's a little strange. I'm sorry I can't answer your question I just had to put my two cents in.

I actually had to move to a new host because my members wanted a spell checker while using SMF and my host did not support it

Just my two cents here. I agree spell checker should in fact be part of Vbulletin. Glad I am not the only one that came looking for this item.

This will be included in 4.1.3, assuming CKEditor is actually included in the release, which I assume it will be/

Now, CKEditor has not been released in vBulletin yet.

What has this got to do with anything?

On a side note, Mac OS X 10.7 'Lion' does auto spell checking and auto corrections.

I was trying to figure that comment out. Maybe other browsers has spell checkers and IE doesn't?

Current implementation does not include spellchecker.

Just a note: IESpell doesn't work with IE9.
Also, IE10 will have built-in spell checker.

IE is the only mainstream browser that that doesn't spell check out of the box.
