It actually gives me the impression that it is real. I read all the pages and the FAQ, and it doesn't sound like a scam to me actually. Initially it seemed very fake, but I'm not so sure now...

Think of it this way. If some idiot actually shows interest and is willing to pony up the $25,000 for the service, you'd be a fool NOT to accept the job. I mean, how hard can it be? I can do it if I wanted to. Just takes a lot of snooping and spying that's all.
