Share the Love The ULTIMATE Vbullentin FORUM !!!!!!!
I've been searching everyday for forums that catch the eye of the public, using Vbulletin Forum Software and sadly, i really haven't found good looking themes to them! How ever, they all look the same and cluttered with alot of stuff on the main page, to mostly all the forums I've searched and found! So i was just wondering, If anyone could present to me some Vbulletin Forums that are, Unique in there very own way!! Don't get me wrong now, i just haven't seen any forums that makes me wanna actually stay on the forum. To me, it has to be Intriguing and sole-unique and it seems all buyers stick with Default themes or themes that are nice, but bland...Also, I'd like to point out while I'm chatting with you all, I have a question. Question : When you go to a forum, what do you look for as in Presentation, Looks, Allocation etc. Anything you wanna mention, that you would like, but don't see ?

Thank you Trevor for fast reply! I have a question for you if you don't mind answering it. On the website (http://www.visitedscotland.com)
On the front page, you can see where it says , Sections, Categories, Recent Comments, etc. Now, in the shaded blue area, is it possible to have a background where the blue is, having falling Particles or anything of that nature into it ? I work with Adobe After Effects and if its possible to add it in, I'd greatly appreciate to know if i can using VB. Thanks

I still think it's content that makes a forum.
Next it's the type of people on the forum.
The skin is irrelevant unless you have a reason to be there....steven

I believe its the Forums intention of what it has to offer to give, is what makes it a really good forum. Of course, having complex designs and templates, is a much more added bonus to the site. I did a survey and a good 98 % said, that they do " NOT " stay on websites long because of the Dull look it has to it. A good 95 % said that they would stay on websites if it was a bit more interesting. And a good weak 5 and 4 % said, they don't care. Now, these statistics were conducted based on users Averaging 18-35, for Gaming Forums. These Statistics could obviously change for a forum, lets say, that deals with stuff that isn't interesting.

There are a lot of things that make a good forum...content and people are most important. With that said, there are a lot of people that could care less what the forum looks like. There have been several large vbulletin forums that I have seen over the years that were still using the default skin. I think it really depends on your audience, I happen to prefer a skinned site, but one thing to think about...if you are searching for an answer to something, the answer will still be the same regardless of what the site looks likeCommanderTalk.com --> www.commandertalk.com
