  • What will happen to .org?

IB Adrian: Currently our intention for vbulletin.org is to upgrade it to 4.0, we will also be running the competition previously mentioned, outside of that I haven't spent a whole lot of time on .org yet, my first priority has been the core product, I hope to get more involved with .org community soon

    .org to VB4?

    Adrian going to .org?

What do you think will happen?

    I don't see vB.org moving to vB4.

        Vote for:

        - *Admin Settable Paid Subscription Reminder Timeframe*
        -
*PM - Add ability to reply to originator only*
        - Add Admin ability to auto-subscribe users to specific channel(s)
        - "Quick Route" Interface...

LOL, I still see SPAM by the person who stated it was removed. Anyone been to "Scotland?"

              That's called a Signature.

It is appended to the bottom of every post Trevor (who is a Staff Member here) makes (should he choose to not untick the box that says "Show your signature").

The fact that he is staff pretty much makes whatever he says Not Spam anyway.

I think it will eventually - but it will move to 3.8 first.

If you read through the notes of yesterdays developers chat, they clearly state that the org will go to VB4
If it does, in theory, it will build more confidence in the product.

What is said and what is done are two different things.

That makes entirely too much sense.

i'd personally like to see vborg go to 3.8.5 and stay there.

                        just me opinion.

I'd like to see vb.org go to vb4, though continue to be its own unique design from what vb.com is. Vb.org has always shown how customisable the software is, and I believe they can do that again via vb4 to really demonstrate its positives over 3.x.

                            That's why it's still 3.6.12?

Partly, yes, because its highly customised.
