Well, that would be what my dad managed to get last night... *sigh*

ZoneAlarm stopped it from sending out any emails though.

Firefly: Search for a file called "kernel32.exe" and delete it.

Then run a full system scan.

              lol, yeah.

I told my Anti Virus got it, so I'm not infected.

I've just had one so far

Kaizen: His AntiVirus software picked it up so he doesn't need to remove it manually

i havent got any email with attachments for months. So i dont think that is a problem i just ran a virus scan last week so yeah. And i love my Norton Anti-Virus 2002 even though it is a resource hog. That and my Zone Alarm protect me. .

Oh and i just did update my definitions . lol.

I'm going to get flamed for this one, but...

                              I don't have a virus scanner
In the past when I have had them they have caused endless problems - as I see it, it's not worth it. As far as I am concerned, I am responsible enough to be careful with my emails not to open any containing viruses. On a newbie's PC, then yes one is essential. But I really do feel strongly against them on more experienced user's pcs.

I have never had a virus, and even if I got one it wouldn't persuade me to get a scanner
