I expected it long before now, to be honest.

Me too - but it's nice to see it come to fruition isn't it.
It's certainly piqued my interest for sure - seems impressive and fresh and not at all a clone or copy of other forum platforms.
            That's innovation - I like it!

This sounds like just the sort of kick up the a*se that IB needs.

If this gains enough interest from developers to establish a hefty third party repository of free mods, this would be a kick up the bum to IB, IPB and PHPBB.

It will be interesting to see what develops out of it.

I think they have done an awesome job so far. Bob should sell more stock now.

That site is a book on "how to do forum software properly and make it look easy even though it's not", by Kier Darby and Mike Sullivan.

IB's decision to allow Kier and Mike (and Scott of course) to leave and then brand them rudely as "disgruntled ex employees" could well, in time, prove to be their undoing because what they have now come up with, even though it's an early alpha, knocks spots of vB4 in it's sixth Gold iteration.

If ever anyone wants evidence of how poor vB4 is, compare that site with this.

Indeed, bad news for IB but good news for us costumers. It only wonders me really how they can come so far with only two people compared to the men powered vbsolutions. It was a big mistake to let them go from here.
