The forum on 2 diff domains.

I want to put the same forum with the same content up at two diff domains.

    and

I had it up on both at first but i thought it was illegal so i took down the orlandomagicfans.net/forums but then i read this thread http://www.vbulletin.com/forum/showt...ense-agreement and found out i can have the exact same forum up on both of these domains it just has to be the same with the same content. I thought if i just copy and past the "forums" file from orlandosforum.com to the orlandomagicfans.net directory it would be up and running but now i get all these errors on the orlandomagicfans.net ..... do i have to reinstall vbulletin on the other domain? i cant just copy and move the files to the directory?

I believe the license is for one domain only. If you park a domain over the original domain, then you will have multiple instances, which is completely legal, as you are not physically installing the software on more than one domain, you are just parking domains on one another and showing the original domains content across other domain names.

Again, I do not believe you can physically install a license on more than one domain, and only one installation on that domain. You cannot install twice on the same domain even, ie. forum.com and forum.com/forum would be classed as two installs and requires two licenses.

The post you referenced is for 2004... not exactly the most current content.
