Money shouldn't be an issue, there are enough companies / contacts I work with that can cover it. Especially if you're web developer / web designer. This is one of those times where it shows that networking is important.

I find it slightly ironic that their site is one of the most disgusting looking ones I've came across in quite a while!

Most good designers have a horrible personal page.
They have no motivation to build one.
They rather focus on the $10,000 to $50,000 customer and wasting time on their wishes and come with innovating ideas.
I guess it's not a bad design, but a fair attempt. Just not what you'd expect from ' future of web design ' .. I didn't quite like it myself either. That said, I doubt the people that they worship that show up in London, aren't participating in making the web site look pretty. They don't care.
