  • Twitter background

Had some fun today, well tonight. Creating my new twitter background. What do you think of it?

I really like that. I wish I had the artistic/creative ability to make something like that. Very nice! Want to create one for me (just kidding)?

Your Twitter URL is wrong in your signature, it just leads to their site. You have to use: http://twitter.com/timewalk

EDIT: Mmmm, now it working OK.

Looks even better than the first. Nice work, how long does it take you to put this together?

Oh quite a number of hours. Putting it together is not the hard part really, as everything is layered and can be moved around independently in the PSD with Adobe Photoshop 7 to suit any changes made. Trying to be "creative with the design" is the hardest thing, and finding the right images to use in creating the design itself.

All the images I used are free images, the twitter one's are created by other artists who are offering them for free use. So I just use and edit them, then put the whole design together.

In total I would guess I've spent about 8 hours over a few days on the design, maybe just about 3 hours putting it together though. So it's not something I've created in an hour.

Looks really good. But I still don't understand how twitter works. Is it like a blog stripped to titles?

No, another site that displayed the images and links to each download on other sites. I'll post the link if I find it again

Facebook's just enough for me. Anything more is overwhelming. May be I am not that internet savvy.
