Yeah, maybe I should consider moving.

I haven't played it for 3 months, and I just got the expansion today (after a LOT of hassle) It has taken me hours to get it all downloaded and installed, and now to find that I have to wait another 39 minutes to login! (And unfortunately, the estimated time is being accurate!)

I'm not annoyed or anything, I just found it rather amusing lol.

Exactly. ~500 is nothing, on my server (Medivh, US) the average is approximately 1500+
This is to be expected of course since WotLK was just released.

So far, yes it is good, but the "real" game starts at 80, so I'll let you know then

Blizzard did a much better job with the release of WotLK compared to TBC. All things considered, the launch went very well with few problems, and the lag is not nearly as bad as I expected it to be in the starting areas.

No siege PvP yet either, that should come later on when others hit 80 and the BGs open up for it, iirc.

As for grinding, the quests are actually pretty fun, and if you're into the lore, the overall story with the Lich King is fairly interesting, so questing/leveling isn't so bad.

Eve is pretty good, but it's certainly not on the same level as WoW or WAR
