I'm gonna install Chrome in my mom's PC and see what she thinks, that's the best review. She didn't like Firefox.

    User agent ($_SERVER['HTTP_USER_AGENT'] or navigator.userAgent)
    Code:
    Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.1; en-US) AppleWebKit/525.13 (KHTML, like Gecko) Chrome/0.2.149.27 Safari/525.13
    Vendor (navigator.vendor)
    Code:
    Apple Computer, Inc.
So it identifies itself almost like Safari except for the 'Chrome' in the UA.

I'll try it out on my Windows side, but I can't stand the icon. Blech

Hmm, it'd be nice if Firefox had some of these features by default. Maybe 3.5? Here's hoping.

I do like the sad tab, though. I feel so sorry for it, it's just so sad.

I been using it now for an hour, and I like it, a lot. It is fast, slick, and so far, pages that appear a little different between FF, Opera, and IE display correctly in Chrome.

The top layout (lack of the standard tool bar for ex.) takes a bit to get used to, but the more you use Chrome, the less you notice the layout differences.

Anyone knows of good reviews/opinions/discussions about Chrome right now? I'm curious to know what other people think about it.

edit: jesus I just did a google search on Chrome and it was so fast I thought the page didn't change.

You can do that in Safari too.

Haven't played with it yet... most likely will later today or tomorrow.

Seems pretty basic - but least it works and so far seems more standards compliant than ie!

    I'm hiding nothing. Really!

But I dont want Google to collect how I'm surfing to present me ads that fit my interests. I HATE ads!

And I dont want Google to make money with my Internet Usage. That's all

    What are you hiding :P.

Nothing amazing about Chrome atm really. It is slightly faster I think.
