  • vBulletin URL forming - finding new posts in a specific section?

A forum I participate in has a "New Posts" button on the top menubar - just like here - that links to "http://www.somevbulletinpoweredsite.com/forum/search.php?do=getnew". Clicking that will show me threads from the ENTIRE forum with new posts since my last visit.

If I go in to the main forum entry point, I can see the sub-section of forums I actually care about - and the link to call up that sub-section is formed like "http://www.somevbulletinpoweredsite.com/forum/forumdisplay.php?f=xxx".

Is there anyway I can create a browser bookmark for myself that combines the functionality of the two? I.E., find "new posts" in JUST the area I care about? Like "search.php?do=getnew?f=xxx"? (Yeah, I tried that for fun - no dice)

Or is this functionality already in place somewhere I'm not looking, and I'm just making far too much work for myself?

    Thanks,
    - Chip

Oh crap. I knew that. (Well, shoulda)

That's what I get for posting so late at night.

      Thanks Josh!
