None, they should make it proprietary code.

This way, if there's a bug they can just fix it instead of relying on Reporting the bug and waiting for new versions to come out with the bug fixed.

I agree, why reinvent the wheel when there are several good ajax frameworks out there? Obviously there will be bugs, but it's easier to debug with a community of users than with just a few coders. I prefer jQuery myself.

While jQuery is really easy to use, IMO, YUI is more rounded out and complete. In any case, they aren't going to change in the near future, now that YUI is integrated and used in many areas.

Since it is using Yahoo YUI already I went and voted for that.

Well since Yahoo YUI is preferred so far, maybe some users can help me / VB team verify this bug : http://www.vbulletin.com/forum/proje...?issueid=26190
It seems like a YUI event script has a conflict with Firefox 2, but not Firefox 3 when using object or embed tags to embed media players. Also the bug does not exist in IE7.
Note that users have already confirmed the bug doesn't exist in Firefox 3 or IE7 so you don't need to repeat yourself.

Have you tried it with FX2 with no addons?
